Internal Content Creator
Do you enjoy writing, shaping ideas, and keeping people connected?
We are looking for a volunteer Internal Content Creator to help write articles and coordinate content for our internal newsletter and members-only Facebook channel. You’ll play a key role in keeping members informed, engaged and connected, working closely with the Internal Communications team in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This role is ideal if you enjoy storytelling, organising content, and contributing to a professional community.

Social Media Support
APDO has a thriving social media presence which the external communications team continues to grow. To support our ongoing strategy of engagement, outreach and growth, we require the Social Media Support volunteer to share (with other Social Media Support volunteers) the task of checking our Instagram and Facebook accounts for any interactions, questions, direct messages and posts that need action, as well as extending our reach by finding and engaging with other, relevant accounts.
Overview of role:
On a rota basis, the Social Media Support volunteer is required to:
- Check our public Facebook, Instagram and Linked In pages and respond to any interactions, comments, and messages in a proactive and appropriate manner.
- Repost content (which has been created by other members of the communications team) on APDO IG and FB stories.
- Proactively research and seek out relevant accounts that are beneficial for APDO to engage with, and to engage with those accounts.
Training and ongoing guidance and support will be given.
