For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to declutter, and organise so I feel privileged to now have a career in helping others to achieve a home they can feel calm, and relaxed in.
I genuinely believe that by decluttering your physical environment you will reap the benefits as a tidy, and well organised home has a calming effect on the mind.
I’ve always had an interest in how property developers stage show homes. They aren’t just selling a house but a lifestyle they want prospective buyers to buy into.
I’ve an eye for detail which is a valuable skill for home staging, and also downsizing preparation. It also enables me to advise clients on a room re design once the clutter has been cleared.
I’ve worked in customer facing roles for the majority of my working life, starting in the travel industry. I spent several years sourcing the dream destination for my customers, and creating a vision that brought the holiday to life for them.
My customer services skills then lead me to a retail role with a building society. There I supported our members with not only their own banking requirements but also those who were dealing with a loved ones finances through the power of attorney or bereavement process.
Throughout my working life I’ve learnt to adapt my approach to suit the individual needs, and personalities of my customers.
Specialisms
Move Management
I have practical experience of working with clients throughout their home move journey. Starting with decluttering before the move so clients aren't paying removal costs for items they no longer require. When clients are downsizing I work with them to 'rightsize' their new property. This avoids moving furniture that will not fit or suit their new space. Once moved I support with the unpacking, and organisation of the new property so my clients can settle in quickly, and start enjoying their new lifestyle.
Home Staging
I have practical experience of working with clients to get their homes 'sale ready'. I provide hands on support, advice, and guidance to ensure the property is presented well, and will appeal to a wide range of prospective buyers. I'm passionate about supporting my clients to achieve a speedy sale.
