Hello, I'm Antonia, founder of Balance Through Simplicity, where I help people declutter, organise and simplify their homes and everyday lives.
I've been decluttering and simplifying my own home and life for more than 15 years, and have been sharing what I've learned through Balance Through Simplicity since 2018. What began as a place to document my own journey has grown into an established online resource, reaching thousands of readers looking for practical, realistic ways to create calmer, more organised homes and lives.
I believe that decluttering isn't about having a perfect home or getting rid of as much as possible. It's about creating spaces that work for you, letting go of what no longer serves you and making everyday life feel a little easier. Our homes should support us, not become another source of stress or overwhelm.
Like many people, I've experienced my own share of life's challenges and changes, alongside the everyday demands of balancing work, family and home life. I understand how easily things can become overwhelming and how our circumstances, priorities and needs can change over time. These experiences have shaped my approach and taught me the importance of being patient, understanding and realistic. I recognise that decluttering isn't always just about possessions; it can be emotional too, and everyone has their own reasons, challenges and starting points.
Through Balance Through Simplicity, I offer practical guidance, digital resources and workbooks, alongside online one-to-one sessions to help people work through their clutter, find realistic ways forward and develop organising systems that suit their individual needs and circumstances.
My approach is friendly, supportive and non-judgemental. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by clutter, struggling to keep on top of your home or simply looking for a fresh start, I'm here to help you find a way forward that feels manageable and achievable. There's no pressure to be perfect, no one-size-fits-all solutions and no expectation to change everything overnight. Sometimes, small changes can make the biggest difference.
Alongside more than 15 years of personal experience, I have undertaken CPD-accredited training in Professional Organising and Decluttering and completed a Neurodiversity Coach certification. I also hold a BA (Hons) degree from the University of London and qualifications in Interior Design and Art History. I'm particularly interested in the relationship between our surroundings, how we organise our lives and our overall wellbeing.
My aim is simple: to help you create a home and everyday life that feel calmer, more manageable and better suited to you, leaving you with more space, time and energy for the things that matter most.
