Hello! I'm the founder of The Home Atelier, based in North Yorkshire, where I work with busy households to create calm, organised and manageable homes. My route into professional organising came from years of hands on experience running homes, working in cleaning and housekeeping, and seeing first hand how much our surroundings affect how we feel day to day.
Many of my cleaning and housekeeping clients really needed a decluttering and organising session to get the most out of their housekeeping visit, so I started offering one off decluttering and organising visits, in conjunction with deep cleaning, prior to regular maintenance housekeeping slots. This seemed to be a winning formula and the ongoing support was exactly what was needed to keep homes running smoothly. Life gets busy, and even the best intentions can slip when work, family, and everyday responsibilities take over.
I now focus on offering decluttering and organising support alongside ongoing housekeeping and cleaning with my team, so clients can not only transform their homes but maintain the results long term. I create systems that are realistic, practical and suited to each household.
There is no one size fits all way of organising. My approach is always warm, supportive and completely judgment free. I know how overwhelming clutter can feel, and I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own space. Whether we're decluttering a single room or putting long term housekeeping support in place, my aim is always the same- to make home life feel easier.
As well as being an APDO member and part of a professional community that promotes high standards, trust and understanding, I am also an Approved Organiser with the Declutter Dollies and completed my CPD Professional Organiser Certification in 2025. As part of this I trained with Dilly Carter from the BBC's Sort Your Life Out and also worked on several episodes of the show.
