Take part in the beta test of our digital organising course.
Cost is £70 and you will be asked to provide feedback after the event.
Designed for professional organisers who are curious about expanding their services, the course explores what digital organising involves, the types of support organisers may be able to offer, and the practical considerations and boundaries involved when working with clients' digital assets.
This course is facilitated by two experienced members and trainers from the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO). The beta test of the course is open to APDO members only and is held virtually over one half day. It is an interactive, small group event with a maximum of eight participants. We use discussion, small break-out room exercises, presentation slides, Q&A and personal reflection to help you discover the paperwork service that will suit your own unique Professional Organising practice.
When booking the course you will receive a digital copy of the workbook to you to help you take notes and reflect on your learning. We recommend that you are over the age of 18 to attend this course - there is no upper age limit!
Kate Galbally is an award-winning Glasgow-based professional organiser & productivity coach and the founder of Better Organised. She has been involved in keeping family homes running smoothly since she was nineteen years old and is now dedicated to helping time-starved women to declutter, organise and simplify their homes so that they can focus on what matters most.
A proud member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (www.apdo.uk) since 2017, Kate is now part of the APDO volunteer team helping with the member virtual meet ups.
In 2023, Kate joined the APDO training team to positively support other organisers with their professional development. With a background in training within corporate, public sector and charity settings over a 25-year period, she thrives on developing and delivering workshops, masterclasses and group training sessions to fellow declutterers & organisers.
Karen has worked in many different industries throughout her career – often in organisational roles, but also as a teacher & trainer. She took the ‘Starting A Professional Organising Business’ course in 2018 and joined APDO shortly afterwards.
She strongly believes in the link between organisation and wellbeing – and enjoys helping clients find ways to feel more in control. She’s also completed several coaching courses and is a bereavement support volunteer for Cruse, as well as leading a group for Action for Happiness. Previously she’s run volunteer trainings for Samaritans and facilitated mental health & wellbeing workshops.
She currently helps to organise APDO’s Productivity & Sustainability groups – and has been part of the training team since 2025. She values the opportunity to support other organisers with their professional development – and loves working with different groups to create an enjoyable space for learning and collaboration.
