Let's Talk Tidy
United Kingdom

My name is Lucy and I am the owner of Let’s Talk Tidy.

I have been an organised and tidy person from a young age, having been encouraged to help with chores around the house when I was younger. My inspiration for my business (other than loving being organised) has come from overcoming several curve balls that have been thrown my way over the past few years. Having lost both my mother and husband, and having to clear out their homes and belongings, it was a real eye opener and has provided me with the insight and knowledge that it is ok to let go of items that are no longer needed or that no longer bring me joy; to make decisions on what to keep, discard, donate, or recycle; and how to manage all of my life admin without keeping piles of paperwork. I am passionate about helping clients with bereavement decluttering and legacy organising. Although legacy planning sounds unnecessary for young people in particular, it allows us to enjoy our decluttered spaces and prevents others from having to clear out our belongings when we're gone.

I understand that every home is unique, and I work closely with clients to create personalised plans that suit their specific requirements and goals. I am committed to delivering an exceptional service with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and understanding and without judgement. I believe in adopting a clutter-free lifestyle through effective organisation techniques, enabling my clients to reclaim their spaces and enhance their overall quality of life. I am excited to build relationships within the community and provide invaluable support to those looking to bring order to their homes.

I am DBS checked, registered with the ICO and am fully insured. I have completed my Professional Decluttering and Organising Business Diploma, Grief & Bereavement Counselling Diploma, and Detoxing Your Home Diploma and passed them all with a Distinction.

I look forward to working with you.

Specialisms

Personal/family productivity

Having lost both my mother and husband in recent years, I have experienced the loss of loved ones.

I know first hand how hard it is to go through their belongings and possessions and to decide what to keep, donate or pass on.The task of sorting through loved ones' paperwork can be time consuming and exhausting and if you don't have anyone to help then this can be completely overwhelming. It is an area of home organising that I would love to specialise in as I have the understanding and experience to help others through their loss, with compassion and empathy.

I have completed the Grief and Bereavement Counselling Diploma and passed with Distinction,

I wholly recommend Lucy if you are looking for a helping hand with re-organising and decluttering your home. Lucy and I decluttered together as well as separately. The tasks we got done felt like mammoth tasks to do alone but with somebody non-judgmental and impartial, it really does make a difference. I feel more comfortable in my own home than I have done in months - L
Lucy came in to my chaotic home with a non judgmental attitude and a plan of attack! She methodically worked through my endless kitchen cupboards that were filled to the rafters! She was calm and kind and my kitchen is now a more functional space for us all to use - we even found a lot of stuff we forgot we had (including 5 phones!!) Thank you for your help we can't wait to welcome you in to our home again ❤️ Sian
I'm not great at chucking things so decided to hire an organiser for a few hours to get me started. Lucy was AMAZING and kicked off my declutterring frenzy. Think of her as a local Stacey Solomon - she helps with decluttering and organising etc. so if you need a hand to get started, give her a call as she's building up her business. Highly recommend.
