APDO launched Spring Clearing Week in 2018. We ran our second Campaign in 2019 and our members have shared a wealth of experience and inspiration. Research by MoneyMagpie in 2017 found that 50% of the UK population have ditched the traditional spring clean citing apathy and a lack of time. APDO Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers is keen to ensure that this valuable chance to clear the decks of any physical (and consequently mental) clutter is not lost. They launched Spring Clearing Week in 2018 to highlight the benefits of an annual review of our ‘stuff’.
Springtime is a time of renewal and growth. With lengthening days, many of us enjoy an increase in energy levels and have an extra spring in our step. It’s a great opportunity to take stock of your plans for the coming year and to revive any languishing new year resolutions. It’s a good time to ask yourself whether your environment is helping or hindering you from achieving those goals.
