Hi! I’m Rebecca, the founder of Sort and Organise. My passion for creating calm, functional spaces has been shaped by years of experience working with the elderly and in housing and property management. This inspired me to start my own professional organising service, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most meaningful transitions — whether it’s decluttering a long-time family home, preparing for a move, or creating safer spaces for those living with dementia.
I understand that sometimes family members live too far away to help, or life simply gets too busy. I’m here to provide hands-on, compassionate support — working with clients at their own pace to bring order, clarity, and comfort back into their homes. Whether someone is trying to maintain independence, navigate a bereavement, or move into supported living, I tailor each session to their unique situation.
Helping others isn’t just part of my job — it’s something I truly love. There’s so much joy in lifting the weight of overwhelm and watching someone’s space become more manageable and peaceful. I take great care to honour sentimental attachments and provide practical solutions with empathy and respect.
With an enhanced DBS check, I prioritise safety and confidentiality in everything I do. I’m also a Dementia Friend, which means I have a deeper understanding of the specific challenges that memory loss can bring. I’m proud to be fully insured, registered with the ICO, and a trained professional organiser. As a member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO), I stay current with the latest best practices and ethical standards in the industry.
At Sort and Organise, I’m not just tidying up — I’m helping people reclaim control, create comfort, and move forward with confidence. If you’re ready to create a home that’s organised, supportive, and tailored to your needs, I’d be honoured to help.
Incredible Support “I can’t thank Sort and Organise enough for the incredible support they provided for my mum. Before Rebecca stepped in, she was struggling to find everyday items, and the clutter was making her anxious. Now, everything has a clear place, with easy-to-read labels and a logical layout that makes sense to her. The changes have made such a difference, she’s calmer, more independent, and her home feels like a safe, familiar space again. The kindness and patience shown throughout the process were invaluable. Highly recommend this service to anyone in a similar situation!” Natalie L
Lifesaver for our family “You’ve been a lifesaver for our family. My dad has dementia, and his home was becoming difficult for him to navigate. Rebecca worked with such patience and understanding, creating a space that feels familiar, safe, and easy for him to use. Everything is now clearly labelled, and essential items are within easy reach. The structured organisation has reduced his confusion and made daily tasks so much smoother. We’ve noticed a real difference in his confidence at home. I can’t recommend Sort and Organise enough—truly a caring and thoughtful service!” Laura T
Fresh and clutter free home “I feel so much lighter after decluttering with your help. Thank you for your patience and kindness! We had years of accumulated belongings and didn’t know where to start. Rebecca guided us through the entire process with patience and expertise, helping us declutter in a way that felt manageable and stress-free. She helped us decide what to keep, donate, and let go of, making packing so much easier. Thanks to her thoughtful organisation, our new home feels fresh, clutter-free, and perfectly set up from day one. It’s fantastic that she took unwanted items to the charity shop for us, she also recommended local charities and connections in Cornwall who can make use of our unwanted items to prevent them going in to landfill too.” Janet S
