Happy Home Cornwall
United Kingdom

Happy Home Cornwall delivers a professional organising & decluttering service based in Cornwall, UK. We offer a non-judgemental, empathetic & personal service, tailored to individual needs.

Having previously worked as a headteacher, I found that the influence of the surroundings often had a significant impact on the wellbeing of those within it and I personally found myself sorting out a cupboard, drawer or work space whenever my mind felt 'too full'. This brought me not only a great satisfaction but also a sense of calmness. Our surroundings have a huge impact on our mental wellbeing., However, we are not all the same, some people need a sense of order and minimalism whilst other people are comforted by belongings around them for a wide range of reasons. This in turn brings them a sense of calm, comfort and of feeling safe. I totally understand this and am here to listen to what you want to achieve in your home or workplace.

Some people may want 'Instagram' perfection, others may want to declutter a small amount to enable them to feel safer - At Happy Home Cornwall our service is adaptable and personal to your needs.

Sustainability is priority for me as I think it's important to consider what happens to items we no longer need in our home or workplace. I have excellent contacts and awareness of local charities and community groups in and around Cornwall so that clients can support locally if they choose to. I can help you donate or sell your items, however I also hold a waste carrier licence to ensure any items unable to be donated or sold can be disposed of responsibly.

Example services offered;

*Decluttering & Organising Small Areas (wardrobes, under stair cupboards etc)

*Individual Rooms (lofts, kitchen, playroom etc)

Specialisms

Personal/family productivity

Having supported several families following bereavement when a property has needed to be cleared, I am very aware of how challenging this can be for any family. The loss of a loved one is hugely upsetting and impactful for anyone at any time, but when a property has to be cleared, due to family living away from the property or due to external time constraints this can be completely overwhelming. Families I have worked with have appreciated the sensitive and trusted way I have supported them, finding the level of personalised service and communication to be key at this very difficult time.

Life Coaching

To ensure I can support clients appropriately I have undertaken some training in life coaching, achieving the Quality Licence Scheme Endorsed Certificate of Achievement in Life Coaching

“Dealing with the untimely loss of a much loved Nephew was never going to be easy, but made more difficult with no will and the fact that he lived in a mortgaged property 400 miles away. How could we ensure that any important documents are identified for probate, along with items of sentimental value. The idea that a person’s life could potentially end up as refuse or in landfill was one of our fears, along with the inadvertent disposal of any items that may have been precious to us. It was not going to be easy sifting through a lifetime of accumulated stuff and clutter from a distance. Fortunately, we found Leisa, who was able to provide that personal and re-assuring service that we needed. Methodically working through and listing every item, in order, to identify anything that could be recycled, donated to schools or charities, or eventually sold. We were kept informed by Leisa, every step of the way as soon as anything of interest was identified. Also providing helpful photographs and inventories as and when"
"It was amazing to see such a completely cluttered property, finally empty and looking its best, ready for marketing which was certainly no easy task. Leisa provided a personal and reassuring service"
"Leisa's patient,calm and supportive approach helped me to tackle areas I hadn't been able to face alone. There was no judgement and Leisa really listened to what I wanted. My home feels safer"
